Eterium is a space flight sim in the spirit of 90's games like Wing Commander and X-Wing. Developed by a two-man team, Eterium aims to bring the classic style of space combat games into the modern era. You play as a pilot working his way up the ranks aboard the United Earth Alliance carrier Canopus during a war against an evil alien race known as the Revi. Experience story-driven gameplay, advanced artificial intelligence, procedural missions and intense 3D space combat as you battle your way through over 30 missions of action-packed gameplay. We've been hard at work on Eterium creating missions and improving our post processing effects making the graphics look a better, especially the laser effects. But most excitingly, our musicians have given us a new preview of the music they are working on. Check out the video below.

This video takes place about half way through the game. The Canopus was diverted to the Beid system to assist in the evacuation of refugees after a Revi attack. The FRV Raven fell behind her convoy and its up to my wingman and I to rescue her.

The video shows off improved post processing and laser effects as well as the new combat music. Not shown in this video is the dynamic combat music system that I am currently working on. During battle, music will transition between three different tracks based on how the battle is going. I'll have a new video soon to show that off.
