Erie drops you into a visually stunning, yet terrifying scenario where your goals are to investigate, survive, and finally escape. It’s first person horror meets intense dark-ride with hidden, rotting cats. Erie begins in October 1966, when the Fermi 1 Nuclear Power Generator suffers a partial meltdown, and locals begin disappearing from a sleepy Michigan town. Oliver Victor is a Red Cross Investigator sent to find missing locals, but quickly finds himself trapped underground and being hunted by a product of forced-mutation experiments. Oliver’s rescue mission quickly turns into a struggle to survive, escape and uncover what’s been happening under the nuclear plant on the shores of Lake Erie. Developed by the University of Utah's EAE Master Games Studio Program.

I really loved the game's graphics, it looks beautiful, but despite that, the game felt very rough and unfinished. It has some cool ideas, but I couldn't feel the atmosphere. The lack of atmospheric sounds and music dissapointed me.
Also, I couldn't get into the plot. The notes are hard to read due to the weird angles and resolution, and there's no backstory at the beginning. It would be also nice to show the main character's thoughts, I think.
The creature looks scary, but again, it doesn't make any sound.

I really hope this game will be totally updated. It looks amazing, I loved the details and the design, totally impressed me. The bland atmosphere is that killed everything for me.

when you click on the download there is a window that pops up that says you need desura to install erie and then in parentheses it says( view standalone downloads)...Click on that to download the exe, and it should install without needing desura.
