Like often in live small outbursts of workaholic can provide miracles. In this case two miracles came along. The first is shorter so it comes, well, first.
Since a couple of days the new domain name is online so you can find now this project under a new place: Epsylon.rptd.ch. I can unfortunately not give you epsylon.ch because this one had already been taken. Still a short one to remember.
The second and longer news is about the new Animator System. Animations are a complex matter especially if you try to do some sophisticated animations which range beyond pre-canned ones. Furthermore making pre-canned animations for every possible action is a Sisyphus task and can be more work than worth it. Hence dynamic animations are a must to cover various situations or altering animations so you don't see the same all the time. To account for this demand the Drag[en]gine contains the concept of animator modules. Like other modules in the game engine this one can be chosen by the player. This way optimizations are made possible later on without changing the engine. Read more about the Animator System on the forum.
