"Enola told its story of hope in the darkness with a graceful hand, but one that was still willing to mire itself in the more horrible aspects of its tale. Managing to be both subtle and brutal at points, it has been polarizing for some of the people who played it."

We've been working a lot to update Enola, and today we are making available version 0.10. It's still in alpha, and it's still incomplete, but we are getting...

First off I'm really digging this game, and I got into the cabin, but when I get to the basement to use some items to progress, after choosing whether or not that guy lives or dies, I get stuck. I do pick up a lever earlier, but it disappears from my inventory, and I'm pretty sure there is a spot to use it in that basement which is the reason I'm stuck.

Anyways though it's really awesome so far and I really want to find out what happens ;)

Here is a link to my part 1 video. Part 2 gets up to after the moving bridge, and then I was filming part 3 when I got stuck, so I didn't upload it.

Hello!
Thanks a lot for the comments and for posting the video. Watching it now! I was also reading some of the comments, they are very nice.

That lever bug seems to be very elusive! I thought I had fixed it already... but it seems it just won't go away.
There's an update coming soon, so I shall find that bug and kill it for good!

BTW do you remember where the lever disappeared? Maybe that can help me find the bug more easily.

The lever disappears when I select it in my inventory and try to use it on a different place that it doesn't belong. So for example I thought I could use it on that machine in the large main floor room, but I couldn't, and then when I checked my inventory again it was gone yet it hadn't been used in its proper location.

I'm pretty sure that's where I lost it the first time, and on another time through it just randomly disappeared as I'm unsure when.

I just sent you a private message that can help you fix this issue.

Thanks. I will carefully go through the level and try to use the lever on different items and see if I make it disappear. I hope I manage to finally fix it this time!

I saw the last video. Looks like you got stuck next to the church, and then the entire screen went black or something like that (I noticed the main menu was very dark, so I am assuming the options got screwed up somehow >_< ). You can try going back to the options menu and change your brightness.

Sorry, meant to give you a heads up! That black screen isn't entirely black. It was more obvious while playing, but it's actually the loading screen. There's a slight loading animation at the bottom of the screen. So basically it got stuck loading and I'm not sure why.

But I have watched a few other people's coverage and saw they found some very interesting things so I'll probably revisit this again soon!

The Brazilian website XboxPLUS wrote a very nice article about Enola. Maybe not many here can read brazilian (I surely can't!) but you can always use google translate :D Xboxplus.net
