Enola is a horror/adventure game about fear, isolation and murder. You play as an unnamed woman who has awoken on a desolate island, without any knowledge of her whereabouts. Over the course of your travels you find there is something else on the island...something dark and evil lurking in the shadows. Visit foreboding locations, solve intriguing puzzles and find clues to uncover mysteries about the island and your own identity. You’ll have to be quick and cunning to survive; but do you have what it takes to save another life?
My plan is to pour a lot of symbols and secret meanings to everything you find in the game. This means nothing you see is purely "for wow/disturbing factor" sake. This includes the butcher room, as it's not meant to be like a "uhhh... body parts, now you have to get scared" but rather ask yourself what this room is for, specially since there will be no people-eating monsters walking around in Enola.
These screenshots represent the game in its current alpha state, since I'm focusing more on the gameplay side while my friend helps me get the visual part right.
