Hello Everyone! Roderick Lizardo here =)

I just thought I'd give a few updates on our production since we have been a bit on the hush for quite some time. Encore's demo IS finished, however it is not enough to show as a "whole". A handful of my consultants advised me to hold off sharing any new content until more than half of the game is finished.

I was very eager to release the beta summer 2009 however it seems that the agenda will have to be pushed back to summer 2010...

For now, more content will be release throughout the year via:

and our new website: Encoregame.com (under construction)

Please show your support by commenting us on youtube if you have time! =) For now, please wait patiently as I will try my best to release content for your entertainment!

Sweet Jesus. I've been following this since the beginning and I've played your playable demo. Your doing an excellent job.

You know, developers like you and me show those low level fan boys that managed code can be used to develop games just as well. Don't tell met C# and .Net can't be used to make games, because managed memory developers will prove you wrong, and managed code will never die!

Nice! I had a similar concept that never really went anywhere, so it's cool to see someone making a "rhythm/musical combat" based game. The main character looks a little too... disney-esque for my taste, but that's just me. The scenery, even though it's a WIP, is looking quite nice.
Good luck with your project, I'll be keeping an eye on it.

Delayed by a year?

Good luck with it.

PS: you should maybe redesign your site, so it fits in a decent
browser window size. Maybe it's me but it looks very wide for what it is.

yeah delayed by a year =) it took the behemoth (makers of castle crashers 3-4 years to make castle crashers) and I am going on my second year as of october.

Also, I will fix that "Very wide" format of the website =)

This looks really fun. It looks to be in the same vain as Brutal Legend, in the sense of the general concept. But it also seems so much more, which I like. I will have to keep an eye on this.

yeah I agree, brutal legend is probably the first thing people will think of when they see this game. But once the player delves into the battle mechanics and the story-line, I am quite confident that Encore! will be able to distinguish itself as a unique game =) Thank you for your support!
