The Empire of Tamriel is on the edge. The High King of Skyrim has been murdered. Alliances form as claims to the throne are made. In the midst of this conflict, a far more dangerous, ancient evil is awakened. Dragons, long lost to the passages of the Elder Scrolls, have returned to Tamriel.

The future of Skyrim, even the Empire itself, hangs in the balance as they wait for the prophesized Dragonborn to come; a hero born with the power of The Voice, and the only one who can stand amongst the dragons.

The next chapter in the highly anticipated Elder Scrolls saga arrives from the makers of the 2006 and 2008 Games of the Year, Bethesda Game Studios. Skyrim reimagines and revolutionizes the open-world fantasy epic, bringing to life a complete virtual world open for you to explore any way you choose.

About Wyrmstooth with 2 comments by Jonx0r on Oct 17th, 2014

Wyrmstooth 1.13 is now available for download. This release fixes a bunch of bugs that have been outstanding for quite some time like sun damage in Dimfrost and the inability to summon Arvak on Wyrmstooth, as well as some more serious problems that have cropped up since version 1.12 that can affect the continuity of the main questline:

- Fixed issue with Vulthurkrah's raise dead scene not triggering.
- Bloodfrost Burrow's boss vampire no longer enabled by default.
- Added additional enable trigger for Wyrmstooth map marker.
- Fixed script-related issue with a dead horse at the settlement.
- Fixed issue with legion carts not moving during final scene.
- Fixed issue with dragon aggression during final battle.
- Fixed issue with town not rebuilding after Barrow of the Wyrm.
- Added a thieves guild fence to The Hermit Inn.
- Added a Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary player home.
- Fixed issue that could prevent the mercenaries from appearing.
- Reclaiming The Past starts if you enter any building at Fort Valus.
- Added new random events for the Wyrmstooth worldspace.
- Vampires no longer receive sun damage in Dimfrost.
- Arvak can now be summoned on Wyrmstooth and in Dimfrost.
- Residents now properly lock and unlock their doors.
- Sigur now walks to the correct bed when renting a room.
- Bulak now trades potions and ingredients.
- Fixed issue with spriggan matriarch not becoming hostile.
- Removed unused location: Cutpurse Crevasse.

Version 1.13 may also be the final update I can upload to Steam due to their 100mb file size restriction, so any updates from here on out will be posted here on Moddb and on Nexusmods.

Skyrim is what Elder Scrolls is supposed to be. Gone is the flowery sunshine of Cyrodiil, and instead we get cold, barren Skyrim with snowstorms and people and environments that could really fit into the Middle Ages or a natural Fantasy World. As a person who's been modding ES since Morrowind and playing since DAggerfall in 1996, I can only see this game as a natural and excellent heir to the series. Take it from me - Skyrim is Greatness!

Some may claim I'm trolling, but I'm not. I seriously didn't find much entertainment value in Skyrim, and I'm glad that I was playing it on loan rather than having actually bought it. It's Oblivion with a new coat of paint and some better conversation bits. It still doesn't have much of a main story, and the sword play is still questionable at best (Kotaku's one writer said the same thing a few weeks ago).
