ECHO is a 3D side-scrolling adventure game with next-gen visuals. The game will be produced using Epic’s recently released Unreal Development Kit. As of now, we are planning on releasing the game via Valve’s distribution service, Steam. E.C.H.O. places you in control of Eli Darion, a biomechatronically enhanced geologist contracted by NEVO Corp, a commercial organization seeking to harvest off-world resources. Eli is tasked with obtaining the precious mineral Cimmerium, which so many before him have failed to retrieve. NEVO Corp dispatches Eli into the depths of the ominous caverns of the planet Scintillia, known for its’ treacherous sub-surface terrain and hostile indigenous wildlife. E.C.H.O. provides players with a thrilling, highly customizable gameplay experience as they battle their way past legions of terrifying monstrosities while hunting through the interminable expanses of an aphotic underworld for the essence of a mysterious element.
This quiet rhino of the deep usually located itself near large deposits of Cimmerium, making them prime indicators in locating the mineral. Although they make finding the crystals much easier, getting passed them is a different story. If you hear it roar, you had better run because there’s no stopping this tank of a creature once it starts going.
