Status Update
We've been reworking the mission scripts and other design features of the actual game storyline, and we're glad to say that the campaign is coming along smoothly. The rework of the scripts have added a new level of depth to the storytelling narrative; and what's more it's seriously sped up the development progress for our mission creators.

GTB Hera
The GTB Hera is the heaviest Terran bomber, with a formidable array of no less than 10 forward mass-driver or particle hardpoints, and three point-defense turrets. But of course, that's only the half of it, as you can fit hundreds of short-range rockets or dozens of high-yield antimatter warheads into its enormous missile tubes. Cutscenes
This is not a prerendered cutscene. By utilizing the powerful cutscene simulation functions added by the FreeSpace SCP team, we are able to use the game engine itself for certain plot sequences. In the future, we may even create interactive cutscenes and quicktime events.

demo time?
Well, there was a demo release - But honestly it's outdated and very buggy. THe plot changed since the old demo release so I don't recommend to play. Although if you still want to play it check our our forum here (http://game-warden.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=74) and enjoy the demo. Any feedback over the forums would be appreciated as well as some activity over there. Remember that Earth Defense is connected with FreeSpace and FreeSpace 2 plot.
SHORT VERSION:
Earth Defence is alive and what we have coming is ten times better than the demo.
LONG VERSION:
Much has happened since the last post or news update.
We've lost and gained team members since February. Mobius has joined as a mission creator, I as a general sound engineer, and (most recently) Daddy Warhol as a music composer. Many of the first members are presently missing for reasons unknown. The plot has undergone rewriting and revision to iron out cliches and make the story more realistic and enjoyable. The DEMO release is no longer an indicator of the mod's quality, as much has improved since then. Expect new ships, new weapons, and new audio.
We're still alive. Earth Defence will come and it will be awesome.

Build engine? LOL Might wanna fix that. I wonder why nobody's added the FS2 engine to the list?
Looking & sounds good... i also allways liked space rts or sims where you have to fight for Earth. perfect cobination isn't it?
i wish you good luck with the game the FS2 Engine is fantastic.
