DREAD is the story of Alex Mannfield, a writer that some years ago had a successful book, called Terror, a beautiful and loving wife, Emily, and a great future... That's all gone now. Alex stopped being able to write... worse than writer's block, the words ran away before he could put them on the page... Then Emily got sick, incurable; Worse still she killed herself rather than let him see her in agony.
Alex spent every night steeped in grief, guilt and rye. He spent his nights trying to drink away the pain, but it's never really gone. God willing, there may be some way he will see Emily again soon... Determined to do whatever it takes... She was his only Muse and, the only way he will ever be able to finish DREAD(his next book).
After a strange man offered him an ancient tablet, saying it would help him see Emily again, Alex's dreams are filled with things he cannot explain... some he wouldn't want to... But, the man was telling the truth, It will let Alex see her again; Help him find her, help him bring her home... He is forever lost without Emily.
