Hello everybody! How are you today?

We’re pretty well, with some interesting news to tell you and to show you.

You can start looking at this new screenshots from the Underworld of Doorways, this time from the sector called “The Hospital”:

We finally have some news about the release of The Underworld, the new chapter of Doorways...

Yes! We’re going to start making pre-orders on the upcoming month (July) and we’re planning to have it released on the next month (August).

We’re also official about the decision of making the new chapter a separated game, and not just a Downloadable Content (DLC), which was the idea at the beginning.

You can read more news at our last post in our blog:
The Abandoned Hospital

And more about development here:
Sounds creepy...

Thanks for all your support!

Here is a Let's Play of the first 30 minutes of Chapter 2 of Doorways, from eGamer South Africa :D

Youtube.com

I will post the rest tomorrow or so, but this is just for anyone who wants to see more of the game past chapter 1 :)

I'm loving it so far. I felt Chapter 1 was really interesting and full of creativity, and Chapter 2 is definitely continuing that. The first half an hour was memorable and the gameplay was once again filled with intriguing puzzles that tread the fine line between simple and challenging, making for a very engaging experience.

I can't wait to get back into it and really didn't want to stop! :P Loving the visual design as well, it's even more awesome than the first chapter.

Keep up the excellent work, will return with complete feedback when I finish chapter two :)

I was watching a friend play this and it looked amazing, was wondering if the first two chapters are available in beta version right now or just chapter one? The descriptions for option to buy, both say chapters 1 and 2, but the reviews seem only to mention chapter 1. Either way, I am interested, but I hate buying a game and only getting a small taste, then having to wait months for more :) I'm very impatient! I can tell this game is amazing...watched my friend play for a few mins, plus watched trailer, read reviews and lviewed screenshopts-- Great job!

Hi! Thanks for the comments.
The beta is only for chapter one. But we're now releasing the final version of chapter one and two this Friday 20 ;)
Take care!

I bought the game (chapter 1-4) in the Humble store, played the beta and here are some thoughts.
- The beta was very short and i hope that it was not the whole Chapter 1. :(
- More options to configure the graphic settings (Vsync, AA, etc.) would be nice.
- The FOV feels a bit too low.
- No manual saves. (the art of creating a real save/load system is lost today, it seems)
- Puzzles are on the simple side
