Acclaimed mission author Sotha has released the 5th mission (excluding the excellent prequel "Mandrasola") in his Thomas Porter series. The mission makes use of many TDM v1.07 features and will be enhanced by v1.08 to use the new Dropped Object KO mechanic.
My situation seems rather bleak. The haunting from the Glenham Tower,
the Hag, seems to be determined to do me in. She has attacked me a few
times already, but so far I've managed escape with my life. I must stop
these attacks before she succeeds in whatever that may be her sinister
plans.
I believe everything is tied to this strange book, De Vermis Mysteriis,
which I obtained from the tower. The book is written by some unknown
language that I cannot understand, but somehow I am certain that the
answer to my predicament is hidden within the dusty pages of this tome.
It may very well be that the Hag is after me because I possess this
book. Can the dead be afraid of what is written on these dusty pages? I
need to find out everything I can...
If you find something called "softened lead ball" do note that it will
not KO AI in TDM 1.07. Once 1.08 comes with its new features, the ball
should work. While waiting for 1.08, the ball might still work as a
distraction.
The mission uses heavily RITs, so guard activity should be more interesting and challenging.
The mission randomizes the location of few critical objects upon map
start, so that coupled with the AI RIT behavior the mission should be
more replayable than any other missions TDM has seen thus far.
(RIT stands for "Random Interesting Things" a phrase coined by Sotha to describe his method of making branched and random or semi-random patrols to increase the challenge, improve replay value and make the AI seem more natural.)

Here is a very much better version of my mod doom 3 - 3, and is the last version until the 'final' version some other day - that will be based on further...
Installation: Extract the Doom_3_Turbo.zip into the doom 3 directory (not the base folder!). Run Doom 3, select the Mod "Doom 3 Turbo", start a new game...
Finally, here is the best i could muster for the initial or possibly 'final' demo release of Doom 3 - 3, before i make either a complete sequel, or else...
you may need to type something in the console use, ALT TILDE ` then type dmap game/nightmare01 THEN HIT ENTER!

That's been on there for a while, hasn't it? I saw it last time I went to that site. The time I VOWED never to return to the site. It's the most annoying design ever made. Besides, I probably need a better video card than GF2MX.

No kidding, that's what I thought when I first saw it...And I've read all the interviews having to do with DOOMIII, and AGH! Woohoo! The realtime lighting is sweet, especially in combination with bump mapping and otherstuff-mapping! One thing that really excited me from the interviews was the physics engine ...how you shoot a box and it'll spin and stuff, (and that will also go with player models n stuff!)...but it has to be done perfectly to not look plain stupid. But I have faith in id software, we all do, as they're th smartest, hardestworking and most talented group of individuals on the planet. :):):):):)

Oh MAN! OH MAN! I just cannot keep myself contained coz i luv this damn game sooo much, the capabilities of the engine is astonishing and better yet, Trent Reznor is doing sound and ambience :o
Thank God my system's all tooled up to be able to take on the shear power of this game. ID Software truely are the FPS Gods.

Firstly my mod;)
Ive basically written a novels worth of back ground information and story.
The polish on this game is amazing and it looks fantastic, cant wait to see some nice litttlel mods for this they will be cool! And this game is one reason that i would buy a new GFx Card! Well LOOK at it it gorgeous! O_O
