Description
This is the Darkmod 1.00 beta! HUGE IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure doom 3 is PATCHED (1.3.1.1304) Special note to Linux users: Please go to the download page on the main site. There are specific Linux instructions there. Please note: This file is only a few mb large. What it does is connect to a mirror thats hosting the main Darkmod files. Darkmod itself is about 1.5 gb! Please follow these intructions! 1.Save the file to your Doom 3 folder, i.e. C:\Games\Doom3. 2.Extract it (into the same folder) and run the file within. The installer will connect to one of our download mirrors and start the download process. 3.Be patient and wait. The download will take a while. 4.After installation, you'll find an executable tdmlauncher.exe in your darkmod folder, i.e. C:\Games\Doom3\darkmod\tdmlauncher.exe. Use this to start The Dark Mod. PLEASE NOTE: Only the training mission is included with this download. Please go to the main site under downloads>mission archives for more missions. Thx! Enjoy

The file is only about 5 mb, it connects to a mirror thats hosting the Darkmod files, which is about 1.4, 1.5 gigs

Why does this have to come out the same day as I have to send in my faulty graphics card D;

I think this needs to have the 1.3.1.1304 patch. Just a heads up people. There's a link somewhere on the dark mod wiki site I belive that is to the correct patch...
