So basically, it's a rip of Doom 4 weapons, based on the first trailer. The idea was to replace just the original weapons. (Now, updated with Doom 4 sounds taken straight from the Alpha!) Made this mod from scratch in about 2 1/2 weeks. Read the description for more detailed info.

Mira, para eso nesecitas estos ports... Zandronum, si no te funciona, utiliza GZDoom
hola! mira que intente con GZdoom y la iluminacion del plasma sin el mod funciona bien pero cuando pongo este mod sigo disparando y no parece el plasma saliendo de la pistola, solo aparece cuando impacto a los enemigos o las paredes, que raro, esta con la configuracion standard el GZ
Is there a reason there's no weapon bobbing?
basically, it was because of the way weapons were ripped, since they were ripped from a trailer, when weapon bobbed, you could see the cropped sprites.
This was fixed on titan, which are weapons ripped straight from the game, using snapmap.

I don't mind if you use the torches as long as you credit Keksdose for those torches.
I don't know how to contact him, but I think those torches were usable as long as you credit him properly I've already saw those torches on several mod's...
How can I run this? When I extract this i see a lot of wads.. so?
easiest way: unzip all the contents on the GZdoom folder, then drag the D4_TRAILER_RIP.RAR file to the GZdoom executable and run DOOM2.
Once you decompressed the downloaded file, there's a Bat file which loads those files without dragging them to GZDoom (as long as you have a copy of GZDoom installed where you decompressed those files).
or that way, in my case the bat does nothing :( dunno if its windows or something. EDIT. Make it work, just upgraded a graphics driver and work lel

What do you need and whats the correct way to load it?
Download the zip, extract it, and put a copy of GZDoom and any Doom iwad inside the decompressed folder.
(Note: Inside the zip there's another zip file named "d4_trailer_rip.zip", don't decompress that one.)
Then, execute the included bat file and it will load the required files into gzdoom.
Or: If the bat don't works because you don't have the administrator rights, then drag and drop the files you want to load into GZDoom.exe

Could you update it to have all the new weapons they have shown in the newest trailers?
I'm not working on this project anymore. The main idea was to just replace the classic weapons, which I did.
However, i'm working with Doomero and someone else into another Doom 4 mod. I'm not ripping it, but i'm contributing with new decorate and sounds and it already have almost everything.
Dammit, I really wanted to see another update on this mod...
Well, I may not be able to upload it on this page, but if Doomero and I are working on that, then you can think that means at least good things. We actually made some modded weapons and you can throw grenades and melee with assigned keys, among other things. Plus it will have the same thing i've did on this mod: Sounds and sprites, plus some other weapons i haven't done but were ripped by someone elses (and i've fixed them, heh =P)
(Just remember, everything we did was taken from the trailers, rather than being recorded ingame from ourselves, which is actually a lot harder)
Also, Im having trouble trying to put everything into a zip file. Every time I try to compress it and copy it to my mods or wads folder, the zip file doesn't appear in them.
Nevermind, I figured it out.
Someone please tell me how to install this in GZDoom or Zandronum? It seems like everything I do, nothing works!
Just wanted to comment everyone that this mod will receive a major weapons update, but with a different mod name.
Probably something like "AlphaEnt's Doom 4 rip", since it's not ripped from trailers anymore, but the game itself.
So, this mod will still exists and also, another one will be uploaded later.
