Teasing, mitigation, and answers!
Due to the sudden rush of interest for Doom: Fall of Mars once again, I figure I have some explaining to do.

Don't get your hopes up for another release anytime soon. There is in existence a slightly updated version of the beta, with many of the bugs (pointed out by the community) fixed. But unless there is enough pressure to upload that post-beta release, I will save the time for working out the plans for the future release.
For those of you who have been keeping up with the news on the forums you will know that the future release is to be a complete revision of the original game engine.

So wait a second, this doesn't even use the doom engine? At first I thought it did. You do realize you're stealing copyrighting material unless you drew it all from scratch but it doesn't look that way.
He's not selling it as far as I can tell, so it's just fine unless he gets talked to.
That's flawed thinking. Just because you don't make profit off of stealing other people's work, you can still get a "cease and desist" letter or whatever. Which is why some mods never get finished. I'm not saying I have a problem with it personally, just pointing out the legality issue.
Doesn't matter if it gets sold or not, using stuff copyrighted by someone else still is illegal. Plus the "company" making this is called "If Software" o_O I really smell trouble here...

Awesome game! So good lookin...
at 36 second mark you can hear sounds straight from diablo 1. I think it was the zombie or imp sounds. cant remember for sure. either way it is great and i CAN NOT WAIT TO PLAY. not dissing it for using the sounds just pointing it out for people.
