Like a Virgin - MA - Running Thread - Dominions 3: The Awakening

For my first game administered on Desura i won't set my usual restriction about noobies. However i'm looking for players with at least strong experience in solo if nothing in MP. I hope i will manage to bring several experienced players from Shrapnel forum so don't expect an easy game !

And like for all the games i'm the admin, i'm looking for persistent players whatever their level.

Something I came across when starting a game here recently was Calahan's CBM Pro. I think the changes are good and it seems like it's becoming increasingly popular. You can download it here if you want to take a look.

Actually i tried once, and it was utterly unbalanced in the end game. I didn't repeat the experience since.
I have to take time to browse what is available and check what is certified by vets testers to be balanced nations.
Anyway for this one it will be without nations mod.

a minimum of 8. Not capped.

I would definitely recommend the pro edition.

It seems to pretty much just make endgame globals more of a PITA to cast. I don't really care.

Still insane. Will go Agartha this time, just to continue the heavy armor trend.

The biggest change in Calahan's CBM Pro is the change of Growth scale from 3% to 2%.

- Growth Scale now 0.2% per tick (was 0.3% per tick)
- King of BaneFires now 40D (was 50D)
- EA Ermor's Arch Bishop of the Sacred Shroud now has max age 120 (start age 90)
- Globals
--- Astral Corruption now B8S6 (was B6S6)
--- Utterdark now costs 200D (was 100D)
--- Burden of Time now D9 and costs 150D (was D7 70D)
--- Arcane Nexus now costs 250S (was 200S)
--- Forge of Ancients now costs 150E (was 80E)
--- Agartha's National "Open the Seal" spell now costs 240D (was 180D)

Random question, does anyone else have the Alexander map for this hosted somewhere for download. With the Shrapnel forums disappearing, it is unable to be downloaded from the normal source
