KNOWN ISSUES
============
If you use this you must be aware of the risk of loosing items when:
a) Exporting a character's save game to a different mod.
b) Saving or modifying the character with "Hero Editor".
c) uninstalling the stash mod.
Be aware of the risk and plan ahead, so you don't loose items.
- Workaround: Use GoMule instead, it gives unlimited storage for items.
==================
Install .txt files
==================
1) backup the files to be replaced!
2) Create folders in your Diablo II working directory as follows:
data\global\excel
data\global\ui\panel
Place Inventory.txt in the excel folder
place invchar6.dc6 supertransmogrifier.dc6 tradestash.dc6 in the panel folder
3) Right click on your LOD start Icon, select properties.
add -direct -txt to the end of the "Start in" command line
It should now look something like this
"C:\Program Files\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -direct -txt
click apply
Start the game and enjoy!
Excellent mod; worked perfectly.
On Windows 7, the -direct and -txt flags needed to be added to the *target* of the shortcut, rather than the 'start in' line--the readme was a little off.
Thanks for mod. It works perftectly for LOD1.14d too. Thinking about that mod, how can we add more pages in to the stash, can we make this easily? Thanks for that mod, and your answers...
I recommend u the "PlugY, The Survival Kit". This external mod, u can use both. Also nice mod this too!
Can anyone help me use this mod with PlugY? Search gg for a while but hopeless...
p/s: sr for my bad english.
Works in v1.12?
yes
thank for the mod :D Is there a way to reduce/remove the added inventory on the character and augment the inventory of the stash ?
Whenever I try to use one of these for the stash it shows visually but I can not use the new empty slots. The inventory works fine. Anyone know what I did wrong?
P.S. Not interested in PlugY or GoMule.
Edit: I am using 1.14d figured it might work because rotus said it was working for them.
It's because you didn't add -direct -txt to the command line startup for Diablo II.exe
Actually I did. Thanks for the reply though.
Edit: I deleted and retyped just to see. Still the same.
On Windows 7, the -direct and -txt flags needed to be added to the *target* of the shortcut, rather than the 'start in' line. The readme file was written for XP.
Yeah. I picked up on that between the .exe part in 3) and the reply from 9/14/15. I added the flags in the target shortcut from the beginning.
I do appreciate you still looking at this.
As you noted I am using Win 7/64. If there is any info you want me to provide let me know.
Hello, it works on 1.14d. Thank you! I just follow de instructions. I dont know why, a question mark had been added in .?txt. I deleted it and the game went well.
There's only 1 txt file Inventory.txt and there's no ASCII ? mark in the filename or inside the file itself.
This works for D2 Versions 1.10 - 1.14.

Does is work on mac os?
I mean is there a way to make this
"Right click on your LOD start Icon, select properties.
add -direct -txt to the end of the "Start in" command line
It should now look something like this
"C:\Program Files\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -direct -txt
click apply"
on a native mac os install?
I think it could be adapted to work in MacOS, since there are txt based mods that work in that.

Is there a way to only install the 10x10 stash ?
