The year is 2052 and the world is a dangerous and chaotic place. Terrorists operate openly, killing thousands; drugs, disease and pollution kill even more. The world's economies are close to collapse and the gap between the insanely wealthy and the desperately poor grows ever wider. Worst of all, an ages old conspiracy bent on world domination has decided that the time is right to emerge from the shadows and take control. No one believes they exist. No one but you.

About Deus Ex: Apocalypse Inside with 4 comments by Tantalus_Denton on May 14th, 2015

Mise En Abyme cloud computers in Deus ExApostleMod release a Mod! And it's our first public single-player campaign called Deus Ex: Apocalypse Inside with the story based on Deus Ex Bible and the back-story of vanilla Deus Ex and Human Revolution. It will give you 3-4 hours of gameplay filled with Deus Ex easter eggs, quests, puzzles, adrenaline rush and anticipation of how this story will end.

Main characters:
Tantalus Denton

Though engineered in the same tank as JC Denton, it's unclear if Tantalus is JC and Paul's brother. It’s been his codename for so long he can't remember his real name. Tantalus mysteriously escapes from Area 51 lab where he was created which pissed off Majestic 12 for an unknown, sinister reason. Tantalus calls this Apocalypse Inside, a prototype of some king that dwells inside Tantalus in form of extremely advanced nanotech.

It is said that Uber Alles is a transgenic made by Page Industries with the single purpose - to find and kill Tantalus after his escape from Area 51. Somehow Uber also wants to take Tantalus' wife Magdalene after he's killed him. His motivations of that are unknown even by Bob Page.Uber uses his deadly katana called Scythe.It is believed Page brainwashed Uber into being a Narcissistic, Machiavellian psychopath. Among other cynical propaganda, Page made Uber Alles loop in his head a song called 'Megalomaniac' by Project X-3"I'm the master of dark triad

And my name is Uber Alles
I am what the world condemns but
I don't ever give a damn
That the monster I've become
Evil things that I have done
And I know I cant go back
A megalomaniac"Uber tends to use "Mwahahahahahahaaaa!" in every second sentence.

Magdalene Denton

Magdalene was Tantalus' wife, but after she and X51 staged his escape from Area 51 he did not recognize her and left. Tantalus can't even remember who he himself is. When he does start to remember he sets out on a quest to find Magdalene and find out who he himself really is.

The Rooks are the worst gang in New York City

Deus Ex: Apocalypse Inside revives everything in Deus Ex that didn't make it into the game including the story, levels, textures and easter eggs. This mod will grow eventually.

The infamous Deus Ex back-story Moon complex that hosts the Mass Driver and Ada AI.

Locations in the final version of the mod will include revised DX1 levels such as Area 51, Hell's Kitchen and Paris, as well as its back-story locations such as the Mass Driver Moon Complex, Texas under Mexican invasion, Ophelia space station from Invisible War, and the cut-out Humanity Front Rehabilitation Center from Human Revolution.Features:

  • --choice-focused, psychological storyline which happens before and at the same time as JC Denton's adventures;
  • --Human Revolution/Mankind Divided style Transhumanism philosophy;
  • --Voice acting appropriate for game locations (English for the US levels and as the language of main characters, French in Paris, Spanish and Russian for Russo-Mexican invaders in Texas...)
  • --New soundtrack composed by Project X-3;
  • Uber Alles (The antagonist you've seen in Deus Ex: Frozen Hell makes his first appearance in Apocalypse Inside)
  • Mise En Abyme cloud computers everywhere!

Just a little update on whats happening with Deus Ex lately

Deus Ex HDTP is nearing completion later this year (this is not confirmed yet rather a goal) - Updates Decorations (inc. weapons and characters too) Textures, Models and animations.
Deus Ex Reborn is being worked on and they've just updated their site recently. - Updates the engine to
UT2004 standards (requires UT2004)
Deus Ex New Vision was announced a few days ago by Snipa and myself. (it is not listed at ModDB and won't be) - Updates the world textures (walls, doors, ect.)

TNM - I have no idea what the f*k is going on there, but it looks good and hopefully Jonas gives us some kind of release date. Knowing him though he won't anytime soon. Keep watching them though.

There have been several mod announcements in the past few days too so you might hear about them sooner or later once they make some progress.

Just thought I would update everyone on what is happening in case you're not active within the community.

(and don't forget I'm working on my remake of Neuromancer)

simply any rpg game gives you choices, but normally none that matter, like final fantasy, the game always seems to end up the same no matter how differnetly you do things

the only game ive ever played that gives you a true experience of good and evil is Star Wars Knights of the old Republic 1 and 2

and if you want the best example of this, there is also Bethesda's Elder Scrolls series of games, ive been watching the 4th one like a hawk and its looking good!

But wait! thats not all! once your FINALLY done taking every path and choosing every option and have seen all four endings to the extensive single-player campaign, there is still multiplayer, which is better still!
(Especially with those rifles in GODZSERVER that everyone keeps calling n00b rifles) You just wont understand the glory of multiplayer untill you kill an aimbotter with a 20mm HE shell and hear him spam that your a "n00b" all the rest of the game. Not the brightest community playing online in Deus Ex right now but its still fun :D. Thus ends my rant...

~~~Holobalobalo, The Request~~~
(Read The Request now... go on... read it... whatcha waiting for?...cmon...)
(No really, read it)
(PS: The Request is a mini story i made at my school in free time, it can NOT be found in your local library)
