Dead Rising 2: Off the Record is a survival horror video game set in an open world environment, developed by Capcom Vancouver and published by Capcom. The game is a reimagining of Dead Rising 2, with that game's protagonist, Chuck Greene, replaced by Frank West of the first Dead Rising.
Even if main protagonist of the "first part" is back, this is not only reason, why to like this worse part!..
"What if"? Instead of Chuck Greene, A motorcross champion, Frank West comes back to find his "vacation" in Fortune City Nevada has gone to hell due to the usa's 2nd reported zombie outbreak.
Money is king here, and Frank will get plenty of time to not only kill zombies and psychopaths but to live the American dream and gamble to his hearts desire.
This game takes everything that was awesome about DR2 and adds new weapons, new locations and enhances the game engine.
It also removes what was worst about DR2 by introducing a sandbox mode for unlimited free-roaming, and saves checkpoints upon entering new areas so potential hours of progress are not lost upon dying.
