I was playing through the first few missions and i really felt like i was hitting the ground running because the tutorial instructions were in text and i was already being shot at from the start. I'm not exactly complaining but the lack of voices for even the tutorial on controls caught me off guard and i ended up looking through the controls menu repeatedly just to figure out what button does what. I also find it a bit hard to read conversations while shooting other ships to bits and if i do focus on shooting things to bits, i dont get the chance to read the text. This sort of breaks the immersion mainly though quest objectives are listed which isn't so much of a problem. Thanks for at least hearing me out! (I never thought sound would be important until i realize i didnt have it guiding me :\)

The docking procedure is also sort of jarring but no biggy and the flight controls are rather smooth

I guess i may be asking too much but it was because i compared Dawnstar against Techyon: The Fringe which i played years ago

There's not much we can do about the lack of voice acting unfortunately, we're a small group with a small budget. We'll look into the other issues though.

Thank you. This game is great though and i have to ask.. Do we have to experiment to find out what weapon does what and how does the name affect the way a weapon works or will there be a sorta built in guide to explain like whats the difference between a laser, a maglaser, a railgun and etc?? Just curious because i didn't happen to find a guide around explaining much :P Nonetheless, i eventually figured out how a few weapons worked eventually and have been playing this game for 4-5 hours and i have to say it's fun!

One possible bug i found immediately was that during the mission after ciara was shot and i had to go to the galactic station, the objectives said i could get there through violet rift(or whatever its called) or the galactic expanse, i tried going through the galactic expanse and the screen faded out but i ended up still in the azure expanse(the station that i could save) I tried entering the same gate several times but no luck and i eventually flew over to the violet rift gate.

On a side note, the HUD weapons display in space is kinda weird because i see my weapon icon display the wrong icon and ammo count sometimes but easily fixed by switching with weapons in other slots. Also, in stations, sometimes, the menus tend to err... like stack on top of one another like when i click the skills menu and than the shop menu. The shop menu appears over the skills menu instead. Not sure if this is a bug but just telling you anyway! I have no other bugs or issues to bring up for now. Keep up the good work! (Is it possible to allow the saving of games in all docks??)

Thanks! We're going to make another patch this week or the beginning of next week so we'll look into them.

We've considered making a guide, a .txt file or something within the zip you download to explain various weapons. What do you think?

The creation of a guide would be useful!
