In an attempt to make the icons pop out more from the previous style, I've applied a minor adjustment to each unit which now features a colored backgrounds and a secondary light source.


Plans for the project are being changed completely. Instead of releasing 4 of every unit with all weapons and leaders associated with each squad, I've decided to cover all basic infantry first, not bothering to fill out leaders/weapons and unit icons using alternate weapons.

Reasons for this is because I'm now adding an extra feature of using custom taskbars for every faction so the future icons match the new hud elements.

Of course, this is only a UA feature at the moment. Taskbars will be applied as a separate download. Since 1920 x 1080 resolution distorts the previous taskbar texture to where the icons do not fit properly, I made sure that each slot matches the dimensions of these icons. The end result and release of this project will be centered around themeing/improving the entire look of your hud.

ive heard very good things about my maps, but thats because everyone has the own oppinion, as do you. But i dont see how my maps are all pretty much alike. I havent made one that wasnt original. As for the objects, they are all in the mod tools, you just have to look around. A good place to find them is in the urban folder under environment objects.

ultra marine u have more stuff too put on maps than i do y??? tell me where to get mor stuff so i can make bettter maps.cause u gots big fire and broken things like chimera and planes and staute...etc... some of your maps i've seen aren't that good for these reasons to me 1st most of urs have 6-8 players which i find not practical because u have to find 5 other ppl to have the same maps mine all are either 2-4 player maps their arent enough 3 player ones i think one 1 i know of so far. and just the layout and on some of them they just seem very similar to all of the old ones u could if anything make them more different i make mine have a shorter or larger fog of war vision range but i't'll tell u in the desc. so its important to read stuff on mine and i admit i do think some of ur are alright but i've never said wow that's spectacular nice job! have I ? this is just my opinon however u do seem to know a lot and u are helpful i think you are good though by the rest of some stuff i've seen the WORST thing waz the 1st tyranid mod that waz W**K! and laughable it was that bad !! even dullsville seem much more intresting! or a dog haveing a poo.

hey i can be your mapper chrish lol and mojojo go to dawn of war filefront.cxo.m then at the bottom go to serch files archives then type in dawn of war tools get the one made in 2005 and install it and make your maps then u can feel free to be in my mapping team ! and chris what do u expect me to do as a mapper? do i need to show u some of my maps because im having troble taking pictures of it> :( i've got a gud few and some arent that gud hell is best for the necrons

so i dn't need 3sdmax 6/7 ? which is wot i could install but havent yet and i want to make fast attk tank fer chaos and some commander with my favourite gun the destructive custom shoota (the one that the flash gitz carry). im getting bored :( i have put a unit in the field which belonmgs to world and is neutral how can i get this to change to a certain persons unit instaed i'd like ta know but most importantly HOW DO I GET DESTRUCTABLE THINGS IN THE MAP MAKER AS WELL AS MAKING NEW UNITS AND GIVING THEM UNIT UPGRADES WITHOUT SPENDING 3 AND A HLF GRAND!!

For 6 years now I have been playing Dawn of War. Modding it gave me that extra plus.

8/10 because it is a really good game. I am however ashamed that Relic stopped at Soulstorm.

10/10 because I always experienced something new in it.

10/10 100% warhammer

7/10 for Dark Crusade and Soulstorm campaign

So much more could have been done, that was ignored during development.
Betas should of had more input.

Only saving grace is that there is a Modding community with which to complete the incomplete game... :(
