I am Vietnamese, toi la nguoi viet nam. And I love Warhammer 40.000: Dawn of war. Specially Soul Storm. I can't wait to be play the fist Mod for Soul Storm. Thank every body. The Soul Storm is really make imba for some race.Specially Necron, they have a lot of heart, and very hard to die. Dawn of war is the best RTS game I ever play. I will play this in the long time. It's so amazing game. Thank you.

when u download the tyranid mod what do u open it with
hehe, monkeys ;) no, you cant, you need 3dsmax7, which is a modelling program, but then you still need to texture them, animate them, and code them. Not to mention 3dsmax7 is VERY expensive. And im afraid you cant join the map makers mod, we have all the mappers we need :(, sorry
and about that "stealth" cover, dont use it or "blocking" cover, neither of them work right and will just be a pain in the ass to you.
And about the maps in the map packs. What we do is make our own maps, and throw them together into one map pack consisting of many maps, we havent yet helped each other with our own maps, but some time in the future we might, but we do send unfinished versions of them to each other and say what we like and dont like.

They don't post much on their site but they've released some in game videos which are pretty funky, infortunately they were hosted here and since the downloads system is dead you can't get them at the moment.
hey has anyone tried to make a necron mod yet? I don't really know how to do anything with computers but it would rock the casbah if someone would make one.
After testing the tyranid mod it still works with the 1.4 patch, other mods weren't so lcuky but after deleting the w40k/data folder out mod works fine.
The 1.4 patch can be downloaded from these locations -

There are of course other places to download the patch from but I won't bother listing them here.
IMPORTANT: The new patch will BREAK the majority of mods so if you enjoy playing mods then do NOT patch Dawn of Waar to v1.4 yet. If you wish to install the 1.4 patch then if you have mods installed the game may not work. To fix this delete this folder -

Relic have yet to release instructions on how to fix the mods yet but once they do I'll post here. Please feel free to ask questions.

you cant download the new 1.4 version if u have mods or new maps on your game the best thing to do is delete everything all maps all mods and reinstall the game to make sure the new version downloads i no this might be annoying but trust me ok this is helping you.
