DarkSpire Chronicles Windows game

You are part of a group of warriors, sent out to destroy the DarkLord, a living hunger that is slowly eating the world away. As you come to face him, you realize you are not strong enough to win, and are defeated. An elderly man finds you and nurses you back to health, before warning you of the danger of fighting such a foe so unprepared. He tells you off a small village not far from his home and asks you to go there and upgrade your equipment,become stronger and more prepared, and then return to him when you are ready to face the DarkLord. Features : - 2d style game, comparable to the early Final Fantasy's or Zelda games. - A large dungeon that pushes your limits, preparing you to face the ultimate foe. - A story within a story about 8 Crystals that will help you defeat the DarkLord, These Crystals give you new equipment and power ups, but can sometimes be guarded by powerful foes.
