Darkness Inside The Light is a game about Horror, survival, and escape. You play as a man, known as experiment #1642, Who wakes up in a containment cell unaware of Who he is, where he is, and why he's there. As you play the game, you will encounter Horrific Experiments and creations. Along with these experiments, you'll find documents that help explain what these things are, who you are, and why you're there. Now, to be clear, this isn't a cheesy Jump scare game. There ARE jumpscares though. However, How scary they really are depends on the player. As I continue making this game, I will release Demo builds whenever I make improvements I Consider to be major. Note that the Storyline is NOT IMPLEMENTED, and will be in the next big update. BIG NOTE: IF YOU DOWNLOAD THE GAME AND DO NOT READ THE "README": YOU MUST PRESS CTRL TO OPEN THE DOORS, NOT ENTER. If more people want this done, I will. This started as just a hobby but now I'm motivated and if you want it, you got it.

Basically, I made a quick text based game, completely coded by myself. THIS IS VERY SHORT! It's only a demo of the text game.

Basically, I made a quick text based game, completely coded by myself.It's something to hold you all over while I work on the actual FPS game.This will probably be updated much more frequently, however the original game is definitely still being worked on.
Just download this since the file is very small, and double click on either DarknessNovel.bat
or DarknessNovel(WhiteText).bat.
THIS IS VERY SHORT! It's only a demo of the text game.
I plan on updating this quite often, but don't worry, I'm still working on the other game.
This is much easier and quicker for me to do, but gets more complex down the line as well.
Please, give it a go and tell me what you think.
Note: This is only a text based game, and only a DEMO of the text based game at that.
I made the demo in a day, but the coding was a pain in the rear.
Tell me what you think, and hopefully this gives you guys more to look forward to as well.
This text game is based off of the FPS Game itself.
