"Couldn't find a valid render system!Press any key to continue..." is the error I receive when I start the game. Absolutely no idea where to go from here. Have tried everything I can think of. |

Open "setup.cfg" under "C:/ProgramData/Damned/Config" with notepad and change the resolution there to one matching your screen. |

Could you tell us how you resolved it? Because I'm still having the same problem. I haven't been able to play this game since August 10th. I'm really becoming fed up with the situation. This is really incompetent on the creators part. I've followed all of these instructions and have found no solution to the problem, hell, some of the support information has been beyond innacturate since I don't even have a C:/ProgamData/Damned folder, and can't even find a config file within the install area within Damned folders inside of Desura.I've exhausted absolutely every option, potential fix people have mentioned, and still, nothing, and I've followed them all to the last detail. And I've done this off and on, for over a month. I don't get it. This is such a shame, because the game concept is great and fun, but there is terrible programing or execution somewhere. If this isn't fixed soon, I demand a refund. Unacceptable, absolute unacceptable. |
