Earth, 2019. A team of US scientists makes a frightening discovery on an island in the South China Sea, and all contact with them is lost when the North Korean government quickly seals off the area. The United States responds by dispatching an elite team of nanotech-suited Delta Force operatives, and tensions quickly rise to boiling point. But when a massive alien ship reveals itself in the middle of the island, generating an immense force sphere that freezes a vast portion of the area, the two warring factions must unite, fighting epic battles through tropical jungle, flash-frozen wastes, and finally in the heart of the alien ship itself for the ultimate zero-G showdown.
In the Coralsea YOU ARE THE HUNTED. This target-heavy Crysis 1 Map features over 500 enemies, a real world location in the Tropical South Pacific North West of Fiji, Truck loads of AI, A Desert full of Tanks and Swarms of Helicopters. Custom weaponry includes the new “MICRO-TAK” Modified SCAR Prototype Semi-Automatic Gas-Operated-Rotating-Bolt 12.7x99 MM 0.50 BMG Magnesium Carbonate Tracer AMR (Anti-Material Rifle). Requires 64 Bit Windows OS to run this 3GB CryENGINE Level.
Coralsea is based on a one to one scale map of a real island in the South Pacific, North West of Fiji, just East of the Coral Sea: Vanua Levu 41 KM N.W. Fiji South Pacific, Longitude 177° 2' 30" E, Latitude 17° 27' 38" S.
!!! WARNING - NOT FOR BEGINNERS !!! This is a difficult level. It was originally designed as a military trainer for hardcore players to advance their FPS skills online, not as recreation. Enemies are scripted in advanced flow graphs to hunt you down, out-fox you, corner you and kill you. Crouch-to-shoot stance timing for AI is set extremely tight giving you microseconds to make the kill or be killed.
Test your tactical skills against AI flow graphs which are vector controlled to more accurately simulate the openness of on-line play with enemies that react to your position, run-away, then regroup and ambush you. Jungle combat in Coralsea is especially difficult with enemies that retreat out of range, hide, crawl and then flank you from all sides. Desert combat AI use covering fire to coordinate their attacks in platoons and squads.
The new "MICRO-TAK" Semi-Automatic Anti-Materiel-Rifle looks like a SCAR, but all ballistics have been replaced with 600 meters/second gravity arc tracers and a completely new damage model for Armor and AI.
Due to the number of AI and Voxel Mountains, Coralsea requires a 400 MB download and a 64 Bit Windows OS to run the massive 3 GB of Vector Combat Flow Graphs.
Fastest recorded time making it through the map alive during beta-test was 3 hours. See if you can beat it!

GAME PLAY IMPORTANT INFO:
Coralsea has been out now for almost six months with no major issues reported. However, there is one bug to be aware of: The first time you get killed, the game will appear to freeze for up to thirty seconds. But if you are patient and simply wait a minute for the engine to recover without exiting the level, then all future game-play in Coralsea will be fine. The bug does not seem to adversely effect any game play after it occurs, other than having to wait the first time. And it only happens on the first player death, not anytime afterwards.
They won't Corner me when I'm in the air....Dropping bombs on them..
LOL, OK Good Luck in the Map!
