Cry of Fear is a singleplayer modification of Half-Life 1 which brings you the horror you've always been afraid of. It's a total conversion of Half-Life 1, which means it uses NO Half-Life 1 content or other peoples' files. It's all made exclusively by the developers. It also uses new gaming styles that you will rarely find in Half-Life mods, such as advanced cutscenes and other stuff that will be revealed at a later date.

Now about the video itself:
Right from the start my mouth went *Woah, awesome.* Reminds me of the boat event from Silent Hill 2. The graphics are amazing, the water looks awesome. And it is a eerie feeling, even though it's a gloomy daylight setting. Beautiful. The animations are great.
Then the main scenes. Wow, certainly scary stuff. Woman with long black hair in old sacks in a forest? Jesus. A light flare? Awesome effect, respect! Woah, the cut-scenes are all so amazing, the animation is awesome. What you guys did with the good old gold source engine will be written down in the book of legendary achievements.
Holy ****, the train falling down, the twisted stuff, I jus't dont know what to say. You have come so far, that everything I say does not seem to do the mod justice. You cannot imagine how much I am looking forward to honor your mod by doing a LP of it. You guys can be certain that I will make it atmospheric and interesting to watch.
Besides all that... what else can be said? Just awesome. best of success, you guys can do it. Make us proud, make HL proud and create a horror scenario like the world has never seen it before.
