You wake up in a dark alley, not knowing anything. What has happened anyway? You struggle after the truth and answers. Answers you want to know in the darkness and fear, which makes your heartbeat race like violent blows against your head. Where do "they" come from? What has happened? Are you just turning insane? The time is up; you can't stay there reading your smses forever. It's time to head out and find the answers. Cry of Fear is a singleplayer modification of Half-Life 1 which brings you the horror you've always been afraid of. It's a total conversion of Half-Life 1, which means it uses NO Half-Life 1 content or other peoples' files. It's all made exclusively by the developers. It also uses new gaming styles that you will rarely find in Half-Life mods, such as advanced cutscenes and other stuff that will be revealed at a later date.

I've always had a huge fear of going underwater ever since you fought those things in the water in half life.
There are certain underwater shooting weapons... The AA12 and Glock 19 I heard can shoot underwater... I think.
Well, in real life the 375. Magnum can be shot underwater... Well maybe. With a glock the gun would fill up with water and not work. With a 375. 44. whatever, it wont fill with water because the buttets are on the outside. *trollface*

I just love parts where you see Simon's hands climbing up a ladder and lifting himself up a ledge. This is so much more epic than Half Life: Arrangement! Now if only my PC supports Open GL... Dang it.

Looks like Korsakovia : badass version.
Korsakovia was simply lame and annoying. I expected better of it. Fighting almost invincible, awkward smoke clouds gets dull very quickly.
Before seeing this trailer, I didn't remember the power that Rumpel's works have on my psyche. Lesson re-learned.
I found Korsakovia to be pretty lazy work. Floating objetcs, out of sync narration, cheap looking enemies, etc. Wasn't that bad though, for a free mod.
This, on the other hand, looks down right amazing and a whole new game nothing like Half-Life 1 that I'd most likely pay money for.
