The 9 months old Campaign Competition has finally reached it's end! The results are here, and we have a winner! The reason it was delayed was due to some conflicts and the work with Cry of fear stand alone.

Earlier this week, we released a patch that was made by the community. This patch is meant to make Cry of Fear more stable, and fix a couple of memory crashes.
You can download it here, but keep in mind that you need to be a 64 bit user and have at least 4 GB of RAM: Moddb.com

The best horror mod I've ever had the pleasure of playing. I spoke with Andreas in a notable interview a few months back and ever since have held an enormous respect for the man and what it is he sees in his projects, in his "horror", and in himself. Don't get me wrong on this one, regardless of anything I might have stirred up before now, I wanted to like this mod. But you have to realize, yes, it was in development for quite a long time, I've heard 4 years, and they've obviously got talent, but they just didn't use that talent properly, to be brutally honest. I'm not going to complain too much about the jump scares, because you DO need to throw a few at the player, if you want that horror atmosphere to mean anything. But there's such a thing…
