Critical Point: Incursion is a standalone game created with Epic Games' Unreal Development Kit. Incursion is a semi-realistic, arcade-like first-person shooter combining tactical gameplay with arcade-style speed.Utilising a wide variety of modern weaponry and set in fantastically rendered locations, the Mercenaries and Special Forces meet at a critical point! In a rush-based mode as seen in first-person shooters such as CoD4, Battlefield 3, Counter Strike and TO:AoT, teams are given level-specific objectives in round-based scenarios! CP:I is aimed at a large player base, offering a huge platform for competitive clan and league play, allowing individuals to shine and capture their glory regardless of how many hours they have played. It accentuates skill vs luck, aiming vs spraying, etc. We differ from the competition by having no unlockables, no RPG's, claymores, tanks, jets or other vehicles. Just PURE infantry combat action!!

We do hope so H4wk99.
We are really trying for an out of the box competitive game, without the gimmics of addons, buy in game, promotions, level ups and so on.

Just pure gaming, action and competitiveness.
What really annoyed us with other games was unlockables, meaning those with more time, or those that bought the game earlier had better weapons.

Our game is to set a level playing field for everyone, leaving just skill and sometimes a bit of luck to differentiate the better players to the others. :) stay tuned

yes but unlockables keep the game interesting, and make the life of the game longer. If you just get everything already and start, then you just play and play until you get bored, whereas with unlockables you got something to do, unlock more things, expanding the life of the game.

I suggest giving the player a decent weapon to start with, that way they don't have the worst weapon, making it hard to rank up, but not the best weapon leading it to be pointless to unlock more things, since you already have the best.

I like what I am seeing here but maybe a little more trash on the floor would be nice.

good point Bobsam, we will look at scattering some fruit in strategic places and looking at other areas to make it more of a used area
