Hey everyone, just wanted to give an update explaining whats going on currently on the conscript team, since there hasn't been any news posts in a few months.

Conscript on the source engine no longer requires episode 2 to play, and that progress bar is out of date as well. We'll get around to changing up the header soon.

The new way we're going to be posting updates is mainly individual, team mate based updates. This will help the whole "waiting 4 months" thing, since I'm unable to reach my computer most of the week.

Ignamarte has been working on the outer city for the Intro, and is going to be working together with av3nger on the earlier parts of the first chapter as well:

Our new mapper Trippy is working on a wasteland deathmatch map, which doubles as a survival map (will be slightly different from each other):

As for the status of the psp beta, we still have work to do on the survival mode and some misc todo items, but we're getting closer to a release. Expect a video demonstration of survival mode soon (and/or a video straight off the psp)

Big thanks to STX for all the coding help he's provided for us :)

This is what I will do for you my little buddy, I did use the textures from the beta one as I mentioned before, but not the model. I will upload 2 pictures, I screen shot of the beta one WITH its poly count, and the same with mine.

I also said Im redoing textures.

alright, here are the 2 pictures, I dled the beta models pack for ya too.

The beta models are way too high poly for quake's engine, even for kurok. The beta stalker and such are like 3-4k poly.

That Dropship model is stolen from the Half-Life 2 leak, with absolutely no changes done to it.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if you stole the already compiled for retail version that's readily available on Facepunch.

because my friend, with a coder that had his job wrapped up in him too much, a lack of models from busy modelers, and just a bunch of other things comming up. One more thing, WAY to many zombie games these days, L4d2,killing floor, l4d1 , GAH. I needed something original. Also, Im sorry guys but If you dont have any coding for l4q on psp soon, yours will turn out like sotd. I am starting fresh, with a new team, and a new beggining! :D

This will not fail due to the constant flow of updates me and my team will provide!
