Hey everyone, just wanted to give an update explaining whats going on currently on the conscript team, since there hasn't been any news posts in a few months.

Conscript on the source engine no longer requires episode 2 to play, and that progress bar is out of date as well. We'll get around to changing up the header soon.

The new way we're going to be posting updates is mainly individual, team mate based updates.  This will help the whole "waiting 4 months" thing, since I'm unable to reach my computer most of the week.

Ignamarte has been working on the outer city for the Intro, and is going to be working together with av3nger on the earlier parts of the first chapter as well:

Our new mapper Trippy is working on a wasteland deathmatch map, which doubles as a survival map (will be slightly different from each other):

As for the status of the psp beta, we still have work to do on the survival mode and some misc todo items, but we're getting closer to a release. Expect a video demonstration of survival mode soon (and/or a video straight off the psp)

Big thanks to STX for all the coding help he's provided for us :)

They'll be a few more mini-updates in bound soon, so stay tuned

Why?

The model are way to high poly... A psp can handle 700 and down.... but if you are going to push it... id say 1000 MAX...

but you mustve not read our model had to be refitted (which it was like 2 weeks ago) and thats a temporary coding

but im glad your so hostile towards us for no reason

the game will feel more HL2 if you take content from the actual HL2 game.
Also if you use half life 2 sounds and gfx it will all contribute to the HL2 feel!
I doubt you'll ever get in trouble with valve

I already am getting the textures redone, It will look MUCH better. I am using the textures that you see right now as placeholders for the real thing. Thanks for the support tho :D. I have my own gfx being made, and sounds.
