Hey everyone, just wanted to give an update explaining whats going on currently on the conscript team, since there hasn't been any news posts in a few months.

Conscript on the source engine no longer requires episode 2 to play, and that progress bar is out of date as well. We'll get around to changing up the header soon.

The new way we're going to be posting updates is mainly individual, team mate based updates. This will help the whole "waiting 4 months" thing, since I'm unable to reach my computer most of the week.

Ignamarte has been working on the outer city for the Intro, and is going to be working together with av3nger on the earlier parts of the first chapter as well:

Our new mapper Trippy is working on a wasteland deathmatch map, which doubles as a survival map (will be slightly different from each other):


You can see a peak of the survival mode above ^

As for the status of the psp beta, we still have work to do on the survival mode and some misc todo items, but we're getting closer to a release. Expect a video demonstration of survival mode soon (and/or a video straight off the psp)

Big thanks to STX for all the coding help he's provided for us :)

They'll be a few more mini-updates in bound soon, so stay tuned

when it comes out, it will be at the same time as pc release... because the pc version is just the darkplaces engine with my mod

about the ammo boxes, if you make a square, and put a skin on it, and make it similar it to another square from another game, its not stealing. Its very easy to model a low poly ammo box. The cremator and prowler were hand made by kongah.

its looking amazing
why not merge solitudes edngine when it comes out that way you will be able to get much better looking textures and lighting with out the errors when importing the texture
though i dont aprove of you model reusing

wont be to hard seing as it is a modified quake engine

music sounds amazing

I think my engine is better that solitudes in a way, just because of all of the features. No need to merge it XD

also, model reusing sir? by what do you mean? Like idea wise?

i personally think this engine is better then solitudes since it runs smoother and is less buggy and easier controls
