The next chapter in the groundbreaking real-time strategy franchise from critically acclaimed studio Relic Entertainment. This standalone game features two unique armies with full length campaigns. Players will experience fast-paced dynamic tactics like never before, in two of the most brutal World War II campaigns ever fought.

Take command of the tenacious British 2nd Army in the vicious battle for Caen, France, or lead the German Panzer Elite as they struggle to repel the largest airborne invasion in history.

With two intensely cinematic campaigns, mission persistence, improved vehicle AI and weather effects that directly impact the battlefield, Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts supports DirectX 10 and is fully compatible with the original Company of Heroes. Battle online with these two all-new armies and a total of four playable armies - allowing players to wage the ultimate war for Fortress Europe.

Hello everybody, I have a questions to those who do mod this game. How do I mod this game?
I've done much research and can't really find that much stuff to mod the game. Also I can't find any downloads to the game, if anybody knows where to get the modding tools, and get some tutorials. Please send me some links to it.

How long will we still be able to play company of heroes?

I just began to wonder about that. As you all know, Relic implemented their dumb DRM/Onlineplay-Thingy, so you can only start CoH while logging in. Problem is, Relic belongs to THQ, and they probably won't last much longer. Chances that Relic get bought by someone in case of THQs insolvency also isn't that high. Insolvencies pretty much never go as planned, because the administrators don't get paid to do good work, in contrary, they get paid even more if they are slow.

I really hope this gets somehow sorted out. It would be a shame to loose this game because of stupid DRM.

SEGA took Relic Entertainment, remember the Total War series by Creative Assembly, now SEGA got two amazing RTS developers!

Yeah, that went quite a bit better than I expected :)
Was a bit disappointed with CA's Shogun 2, though. They really went a bit overboard with simplifying the game. But Rome looks quite good, and after CoH2 Relic should have some free capacities. Who know's, maybe we'll even get a new DoW soon?

I've got to concur there. As it stands, Sega has the two best RTS-Devs at hand, and it seems like I'll soon throw some money at them.

The only thing letdown to me in Shogun 2 is the graphic and crashes, i mean, the game runs pretty well, but at loading screen it crash after a battle. Hopefully Total War: Rome 2 would not be so heavy.

I cant find the thread but their was a whole thing about this on Relicnews forums. I don't remember every single detail, but one of the COH devs said the server was paid in full upfront for like 10 years or something. At least this is what I remember, if someone else could fill in the details or find the thread I am sure that would help our fellow here and put some concerns of others to rest.

Thanks, that's very reassuring. Also great that the guys at Relic took some precautions. A few years should be enough to sort out what happens to the licence^^

Anyway, i really hope Relic stays as a complete Developer, under whoever they will work in the future.

@AfeefZabir You need to have "HOME" or "PC" selected at the top of the page.

If you accidentally selected platforms such as PS3, VITA, etc. nothing will show up in Mods section.

This is more than Command & Conquer and Star Craft "Get the resources, build a shit-load of units and steam-roll your enemy" style of game. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I do like to play a 15-20min game with no "consequence" for loosing or wining, from time to time. But ever since Company Of Heroes came's just amazing This game is way more realistic and in-depth than any other WW2 RTS game out there*.You have your account and as you play you get higher military rank and…
