We just got the permission of EA to make Reborn a standalone. What does it mean? It means you won't need Renegade or any other EA games in order to play Reborn. All you will need is to download the client, install and play.

After a highly successful games convention, where both mods were shown off to many people including EA staff, Renardin and Kalle Bowo have returned home. Renardin has posted up some of his pictures around the place for you all to enjoy.

In EA's latest C&C 3 Podcast they mention Kalle Bowo's Nod uniform quite a bit, it was a big suprise according to Mark Verdu (C&C3 Producer) You can listen to that at www.commandandconquer.com. But theres no rest for the wicked, and production on both modifications is going strong, more will be revealed sometime in the foreseeable future.

I tried one of reborn's latest beta, but i dont know how to burrow with underground vehicles or how to make the tick tank become a turret thingy or how to make the juggernaught deploy? Pls tell me :confused:
Nikolai: most of your "bugs" have already been fixed in the new version of Renalert or weren't bugs in the first place.
1.Theif is fixed,
2.The hind's rockets were never supposed to turn (apache has strong rockets, hind has strong machine gun).
3.The westwood logo isn't a "bug" it just hasn't been removed yet, assuming that they even want to remove it.
4. Volkov isn't like god, if you've ever attacked him with grenades/rockets you should know that.
5. AA guns are fixed.
6. Ore refinery interior has been fixed.
7. You were never supposed to be able to climb the silo ladder, as at the top there is molten ore (also the ladder has been removed from the new model to dispel any confusion).
You're a Reborn lover. plain and simple, though there is nothing wrong with that, please try not to make such ignorant posts in the future.
I hope the next patch stops underground vehicles from being able to dig just before they die and repair, it's kind of annoying lol.
Ps. Both mods rock, both aren't finished, if anyone here can make a better mod than either of these teams, then please go and do so and stop flaming people who are simply trying to make this game more enjoyable for you.

Reborn is one of the few real mods that made its way through the renegade community to the end , one BETA shouldn't dissapoint you that much orca poilot and the rest , there is much more comeing ...

Of course "reneGay" would put up much more of a fight and it would last longer, but it would probably end up at something like that.
It seems that they released another version with a fixed installer...
Oh crap!! It has way more bugs than RenAlert. The whole underground portion of the maps is very poorly implemented, and the sam sites don't work too well.
BTW: What mod did I make?

you r such a n00b. I got it to work the first time i tried...
just as I thought, the mod is totally worthless, the installer is screwed up.
