We just got the permission of EA to make Reborn a standalone. What does it mean? It means you won't need Renegade or any other EA games in order to play Reborn. All you will need is to download the client, install and play.
Back on track!
So a week and some hours late, some updates! The new blog is up, go check it ! A lot has been done since the last news we posted on Moddb. Ive mapped and modded the heck out of renegade and its netcode is just the worst thing in the world. Nothing but lag!
I really wish I knew where my CD-key was for renegade :(
I'll give you a little hint, the online mode doesn't check for a unique key so you can grab any one you can find online.
Also, I don't think the netcode is too bad.
