My issue with psydo-retro style games is the resolution is way too high.

The highest resolution I like my 2D Games is 800x600

I have just updated the Linux versions, both the full and the demo. So they should both now be standalone versions that do not require AIR to be installed. All versions are standalone now.

Ah, that's good news. :)
I only tried the Flash version a few weeks ago. Does it still use Flash despite not using adobe air?
Now if only all the other games on Desura using Wine would get rid of Wine as well... :/

Yes they are still AIR programs, which are not the same as Flash from what I understand.

AIR 2.6 is the last version available for Linux. Just in case anyone gets confused.

Bought this before I realized it uses adobe air. Oh well, I guess I'll have to spend an hour or two actually managing to install it

There should be two versions of the game for each platform - Air-dependent and standalone. The standalone version contains a complete Air installation, therefore you should not have to install the Air at all.
If that is not the case, please let me know, I'll try to get it right with Desura editors. Thank you!
