We've been working on improving existing systems since version 2.5, Subscription, Quest Tracking, Tutorial, Electrum Shop, etc, and new content as well.

First-run Cross-server PvP Wrap-up
First fight of the brand new Cross-server PvP came to an end on Sunday, we're glad to see players enjoying the fierce competition. The defeated Nexans have started pouncing back to retake lost ground, and there are new challengers as well. The higher the rank, the closer the epic Steam Griffon becomes. Can't wait to see the next round fired up.



Time to stand firm!

Tower of Peril really lives up to its name, waves of mobs with sick Power maliciously lurk on each layer of the Tower. All players have a chance to assemble an awesome the Steam Scorpion if they can survive as many Layers as possible or strike it rich with opening up some Chest (it's rare of course!).

What 2.6.1 Brings In?

In 2.6.1, we will overhaul the Crafting system; all functions inside it will be reworked and the new interface will be more friendly and easy to understand. Catalyst will be completely unnecessary in the new Crafting system but we are not simply removing it -all Catalysts will turn into something valuable instead. As the development and testing are not completed yet, the preview screenshots are pretty rough (but still can see the difference):


In addition, 2.6.1 will introduce a new in-game currency called Bound Electrum which replaces the old Spiremarks, which still can be viewed on the Shop interface. It looks like Electrum and can be used in exactly the same way (purchasing items from the Electrum Shop, etc), but it’s Purple and bound to your character. Anything purchased with bound electrum is, you guessed it, bound. People with remaining catalysts after the upgrade will exchange them for Bound Electrum, which is a good trade.

Welcome to the brand new version 2.6, a major update that brings in Inter-server Wars that yields new enormous mounts like the Steam Griffon and a large expansion (Tower of Peril) to the end-game that keeps things competitive even at the level cap. Additions

• Added new Cross-server PvP (unlock at level 20)
• Added new mount prize of Cross-server PvP Steam Griffon;
• Added new dungeon Tower of Peril (unlock at level 40);
• Added new Tower of Peril daily tasks;
• Added new collection items for Tower of Peril;
• Added Tower of Peril Shop, along with Red quality items.

Changes
• Mystery Shop now sells Mercenary Crystals;
• Removed Catalysts from the Mystery Shop.

what about a trickster class, who is nimble and uses daggers/throwing daggers/throwing needles/rapier. thy can confuse their enemies and strike a blow and such by using clever tricks

Interesting, the rogue class was intended to take on this role but we are focusing on the core 4 classes that will release for alpha and beta. In the future we hope to implement several new classes but if we draw the focus too thin then the balancing may be off. Thanks for the suggestion.

I want to toss this out here for a moment.. Why not try something new class wise? Among the classes, have a Class called "The Jack" or some other fitting name. This class can get 2/3s as strong in any ability, has access to most abilities of all classes, and access to all equipment. The downside would be, he would not have access to the highest tier of abilities (And maybe therefore equipment).

Players like me love to be the jack character in more open MMOs, we like to not dominate in any specific field, but like to help pick up the slack of any missing/injured classes in a party. We cam't heal amazingly well, but we can fill in if a healer needs a moment. We can't kill as fast as a warrior, but we can fill in for him while he takes a moment to catch his breathe.

Ah yeah, we were thinking about such a character, not brilliantly powerful in almost every filed, and not extremely weak in a single filed, but the implementation and balancing is tough so it would only be after full launch when things are more settled.

I can agree with that, it is a good idea to balance what you have before adding niche characters or more intricate/single purpose characters (Like crafting specialty, etc)
