Last week, we showed you the deadly Risen. This week we got something way scarier, the Brood. It is nice to see that Mark’s camera routines work well in this scene also. We have not shown this tileset before and it looks pretty cool. Characters whom would dare to climb the top of the mythspikes may find enemies like this awaiting them. We are looking forward to exploring the potential of this tileset.
We have been experimenting with building smaller and tighter levels that extend more vertically than horizontally. This gives us the opportunity to create more focused designs, and make better contrast with open levels.
