Goddess Enera's light scorched all of Oblesica, the lands inhabited by Humans, Kindlers, Garroks, Inaidens and other exotic races. The races lived amongst an uneasy truce, but they coped with the integration, each species having a special quality to contribute to Oblesica's constant advancement. Amongst their day to day lives, Enera saw none shared the same compassion she had for life, and wanting to impart said compassions onto them, she formed the perfect race to demonstrate such desire for life's fullest.
Body created by pure flame, the 'Cinders' were seemingly flawless. They helped the other races connect, and friendships blossomed throughout Oblesica like an over-fertile plague of daisies. However, Enera noticed imperfections in her new children, and the overwhelming lust for death that had been seeded in them. The desire to fuel their fires with the cries of human spirits had taken control over them.
Enera, knowing this outbreak and war was her own doing, shamefully turned her back on Oblesica through the unending guilt that knocked her down. The world was left in eternal night, and for a hundred days, lakes of blood were cast upon the human-built continent Amalaine. The Cinders were too strong to hold off, even with the Humans, Garrocks and Inaidens as a combined force, but once they found that the Kindlers had joined the Cinder's efforts, they knew they were doomed.
The innocent tears ate away at Enera, and she decided to do what she had to, or else the Cinders would tear apart Oblesica completely. In a dark sacrifice, Enera's light was stripped from her body, and she was killed along with the darkness she had unleashed upon the world. The war fell apart quickly once the Kindlers found themselves out-matched, and the remaining three races formed the Iris Nation, to honor Enera's sacrifice in their darkest days.
Since then, a small relocation group of Iris Nation settlers and officials have moved into a lowly populated island, Abidayl. The Iris Crown of Abidayl belongs to King Ivan and Queen Fade, and their devotion to life inspires all of the newly hatched continent, nearly matching Enera's compassion she once had for it. A large expedition executed by the Iris Crown has found the resting place of Enera and the Cinders within the new continent, and the Cinder's ashes were the last item in a recipe to triumph where Enera had gone wrong. Success has been proclaimed, and the 'Cinthetics' have risen to combat the Iris Nation's old, but hastily growing enemy, The Kindlers.
