When the terrorist attacked Chernobyl Power Plant, captain Yuri Ryakov was sent to sabotage their efforts and destroy radioactive material transports. He succeeded... partially. Now, Russian Army is attacking terrorists' positions in Chernobyl. However, despite their numbers and aircraft support, they are having tough time trying to defeat the terrorists. They seriously fear the terrorists may take enough radioactive materials away, before being defeated. Yuri, who knows the area very well, is assigned a partner - captain Fedor Strushyn. Together they are sent forward and into the battle, to destroy all the enemy transports they can. This is an epic voyage right into the heart of the battle, and further away - to the Middle East, in pursue of the last stolen radioactive transport.

Unfortunately no. I'd love to, but we don't have tech for Linux.

Lot of talent here, but do you plan on doing anything other than shooters?

We do - right now mostly realistic farming simulators, but we also did truck racers and kids' platform games.

The market's pretty tight at the moment so our choices are a bit limited.

Could you explain what you mean with the market being tight? I think people love different kinds of games. XCOM (turn-based strategy) is very well received for instance, although it still has a lot of bugs. Farming Simulator 2013 is doing great. Far Cry 3, Chicalry, etc. So with making yet another shooter, don't you just tighten up the market more yourself? Because people want, and are still asking for different kinds of games other than shooters.

Well yes, I know that. You are mostly right. But we *do* other games in the first place (edited to add this :).

Also the amount of work/money that need to be put up front into something new doesn't always make ends meet, especially for a small company. By market being tight I meant exactly that - 4, 5 years ago developer might create a new game and, if it kept a reasonable quality, count for a stable rate of return. Right now it is much more of a risk. Large companies with a known brand (Far Cry) are one thing, small companies trying something new is very much hit-or-miss. The numbers on both sides really don't compare.

Not to say we don't plan to do something else, but I can't really go into detail here. We have some shooters upcoming now for a reason, that's all.

We weren't stuck with them in the past and will not be in the future. It's just where we are in the present for various reasons - economical being one of the most important.

This looks like an Arma 2 Mod. In fact, its an uncanny relation to it.
