Celestial Impact is a PC game developed in Sweden that started with a few university students having an idea of an unusual and fun game. The idea evolved into a larger spare-time project and has now reached a fully playable version. An open Beta of the game was released a couple of days ago and is now available for public download.
Celestial Impact is a team based multiplayer first person shooter on an asteroid in space with fully deformable terrain in all directions. The team objective is to find and keep a crystal from the enemy. Each player is equipped with, apart from a regular weapon arsenal, a special tool called Dirtgun. With the Dirtgun, players can add or remove terrain in the middle of combat. Build and dig your way around the landscape as you seek out and kill your enemy.
It is a custom engine developed by us. Maps are done ingame with the dirtgun and some special commands to paint different materials. Thats mostly all to it, we will write a more detailed howto so anyone can easily make maps.

Amazing, I checked it out and was pretty surprised. Can be improved but for what you got very good, still trying to learn about the editing. What engine you used(or custom) and is there a way to map for it etc..
