We have been really busy working on Slaughter Maze and other games from the Carnage Frontier Universe. Today we bring you two new zombies, a rocket launcher and a new records system.
We have decided to not implement the flamethrower and the grenade launcher in order to dedicate more time to our other games. However the Rocket Launcher was implemented some time ago so we decided to launch it along with the new record system.
Now the players will be able to have their own survival records for each individual level.
And with this, we close the development of the updates for this game, time to move on. I would like to mention that we developed this game to support our bigger games, we didn't launch it with the aim of breaking any gaming limit or dominate the market or something like that. We never expect that the game would be played by so many people, so we wanted to say that we are thankful to everyone that played it. For those that would like to support EXM Games further, we are working on some tweaks to the game so we can release it as a "Hardcore Edition" to support our upcoming game Zombie Horde.
This new version of Desperation will contain two new levels, a new "hard" difficulty and an HD version of the Lobby, which is the first level that debuted in Desperation 1.0. The hardcore edition will be available soon for just 1 USD. Every dollar will go straight for the development of Zombie Horde(we will post his moddb site in a few days).
Desperation was created with andengine, however it is time for the zombies to invade another platform, so we would like to announce that we are using Unity to create a port for iOS.
