'Caribbean!' is a mix between an economic strategy game and an open-world RPG, set in the pirate era of the XVII century’s Caribbean region. The game is based on the significantly improved Mount & Blade: Warband engine. 'Caribbean!' lets players decide their own role and create their own adventure. Those who crave for battles in jungles, raids on rich cities and capturing enemy ships can choose the path of a pirate and a mercenary who will raise to the top with the help of his own sword. Those who aren't afraid of the words 'financial planning' can take pleasure in making great deals and expanding their business by choosing the path of a merchant and a business man. Rank and wealth can be achieved any way you like. Of course, if you're tired of fighting and boarding enemy ships, you can always invest your collected savings in good real estate. Or do it the other way around — sell all of your manufactures, buy a nice brig and become a pirate.

Nice game overhall and engaging naval mechanics, quite fun. Sadly i think its an abandoned project.

As this is buildt on Mount & Blade Warband's engine you can expect very similar gameplay. In fact it's 100% the same type of gameplay but in a good way.

You start out as a no-body. You get a ship and from there you can do what you want! Plunder ships, start wars between nations, get alot of renown and be who you want to be. Get enough renown and you can join a faction like Englad, Spain, France or maybe The Brotherhood (Pirates).

The ship battles are fun, the land battles ar fun and the game is just fun in general. Yes it has taken several gameplay mechanics from other know pirate games but they take that and bring it into the already fun and awarding gameplay from Mount & Blade.

If you like open-world pirate games like me, you do not want to miss out on this game. Not to mention this game is still getting new content in updates every Friday! It has some bugs but none that are game-breaking and Snowbird are really good listeners to feedback and suggestions, so those glitches will be fixed.

This is the best pirate game I have played since Sid Meier's Pirates and thats one old game. Grab your cutlass and join the adventure!

Think of it as Mount & Blade on rhum and galleons. Literally.
It's both fun and entertaining.
An excellent setting for this improved version of the saga, especially if you're a fan of Asassin's Creed Black Flag.

Naval battles clearly ripped off in concept from Total War. As well as straight up plagiarism from Sid Meier's Pirates! even the game's name filches it; "Caribbean!"
