I have found a way to use a Xbox Gamepad for Call Of Duty: World At War. This will require AntimicroX which is a piece of software to allow you to map keyboard keys and mouse controls to a gamepad. There are three profile options. The main profile option will use the controller support from the game and the AntimicroX profile will allow you to access the B Menu, Console commands and the mouse using the controller. The Full Controller Support profile will not use the controller support from the game and the profile will provide full controller support. The Plutonium controller support is to be used when using the Plutonium client.

If your running the game in compatibility mode or as a administrator you may need to run AntimicroX under compatibility mode or as a administrator. To disable the Xbox 360 popup window when you press the Xbox Guide Button press the Windows Key + R and type msconfig. Then go to Startup and right click on XboxStat.exe and disable it.

If your planning on using the main profile, you will need to launch the game in Solo/Coop mode and go to Options & Controls->Game Controls and set Enable Console to Yes, then press the ~ key on the main menu and type "exec default_controller.cfg" and press Enter. Then launch the game in Multiplayer mode and press the ~ key on the main menu and type "exec default_controller.cfg" and press Enter.

To run the AntimicroX profile when the game launches make sure the auto profile is linked to the CoDWaW.exe and the CoDWaWmp.exe
