I liked this game when it first came out, but it eventually spawned 99.9% of the morons who made MW2 their own personal middleschool religion. And strangley I found MW2 To play a lot smoother than this, MW2 drew it's weapon damage and such off World at War, sometimes in COD4 I Couldnt even tell when I hit someone. The single-player is generic action movie crap, relying on explosions to keep the audience entertained. I found the gameplay very uninteresting and completely lacking in innovation, and the plot is barely existent; it's just some barely intelligible, hardly explained gibberish. The multiplayer is very unbalanced. I'm having a problem.
The Singleplayer mode works with no flaws, but when I try to run the Multiplayer mode, it seems to crash. I tried compatibility mode and running it as administrator, alas, to no avail. I need help, please.
My comp's specifications:
Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1
Acer Aspire X1200
Athlon Dual Core Proscessor 4050e 2.10 GHz
3.00 GB RAM
32-bit Operating System
Oh, and my COD4 DVD came with a NVIDIA 8800 Video Card, which I don't use.
Had this problem to, then i googled it, it said plug in a microphone into your mic slot. Not gonna lie, that actually fixed it. PLug in a mic in your comps mic slot then run it and enjoy pwning noobs online.
Does Pezbot work with extra maps?

Singleplayer is good and epic, but multiplayer has too small maps, no vehicles and so on. I am much more into Battlefield-style multiplayer.
Yeah. I may still play multiplayer, and the COD4 multiplayer is pretty fun, but I will NEVER ever run multiplayer before I beat the singleplayer.
It's madness, some people rather go for dumb killing than for the actual story.
