Improved configuration interface and many new menus to set the game the way you and your friends want to play it. All these menus are available in-game too! Also bots are supported in almost every map.
Now you can control maps, rotation, rules, and players on your server in-game! Very useful for server admins and also in LAN Parties because you can quickly switch anything!

I liked this game when it first came out, but it eventually spawned 99.9% of the morons who made MW2 their own personal middleschool religion. And strangley I found MW2 To play a lot smoother than this, MW2 drew it's weapon damage and such off World at War, sometimes in COD4 I Couldnt even tell when I hit someone. The single-player is generic action movie crap, relying on explosions to keep the audience entertained. I found the gameplay very uninteresting and completely lacking in innovation, and the plot is barely existent; it's just some barely intelligible, hardly explained gibberish. The multiplayer is very unbalanced. Yeah united offensive was the best infact i played that until modern warfare came out but even while that was out i played it, now its kind of dead though when my dad had a internet cafe we all used to play that battlefield 1942, battlefield1942, warcraft 3 and unreal tournament 2003.
Cod 4 & cod WaW are the best of the series, because they are both better than mw2 & 3, and because cod 4 has mod support.
Wrong, call of duty 1 with United Offensive expansion was the best, but I guess you have never even heard of it
