Awesome seeing updates for this as always. Ever since I switched to the new IW4x client I've noticed on several of the maps the player is now put on the wrong team. This was a bug with Derail in 1.3.2 but it appears fixed in this version. However, there appears to be several more maps that have the problem too. I only tried Bailout and Karachi but they had the same problem where you could not choose a team or auto assign on a team and you'd be placed on a 3rd team. EDIT: It appears this issue only occurs if you load the mod through the IW4x menu. If you do the traditional 'fs_game mods/bots' it seems to load the bots and what team you are on fine.
Thats just a IW4X related issue, has nothing to do with the mod.
Yeah I figured since the client is still pretty new there would be some issues with it. Just glad the mod can be loaded the old way still.

MW3 (IW5) has no GSC compiler, which means no executing custom server code. Bot Warfare for all three games uses GSC. You may see some videos of test clients (retarded enemies, shoot, reload and spin), even some that aim. They were able to call addtestclient and setplayerangles (and possibly notify). This is possible because of Infinity Script, it hooks various Exe functions and creates a some sort of API allowing scripters to use. Problem is, not all functions are hooked and using GSC functions would be problematic. Also, theres no real continuation of IW5M, (tekno, maybe...) if and when a MW3 Client does come out with a GSC compiler, then you'll see some hopes.
Heh, looks like the day may have finally come... Look up the Plutonium client. MW3 client that is going to support GSC coding. Not out yet but should be soon
I seen that, apparently it will have basic bot support (walk around the map and shoot enemies). We'll see how far it goes.

CoD4 and WaW, yes. MW2, you'll have to use a custom client, look up IW4X, its a upcoming client filled with modding potential.
There is no way to have steam integration though? I like my game time :)
I've done everything and i press 5 in the game but nothing happens ?!
Would it be possible in a future update to make the bots use launchers more often against killstreaks (especially high end ones such as the ac130) or add an option to increase the possibility of the bots using them?
Help me please.When I play with this mod, I dont see the targets (plant side, flag cpt), and my temmates are shown as enemies when i use choppa gunner or ac-130. IW4X Client

Steam MW2 has no mod support, there is MW2 Liberation, however it could trigger a VAC ban, just use a custom client.

It is a very good mod but i have one problem with the killstreaks for some reason i can get harrier but the higher killstreaks than it wont show up when i get them e.g heli gunner. i used the ac-130 alone once and still not working.
PS: im using iw4m v2
Some clients such as V2 disable the higher end killstreaks in team based modes. It has nothing to do with this mod.

one thing tho, I can't use the ac-130 killstreak, is it part of the mod ? is there a way to activate it ?
the only time I got to use the ac- 130 was when I got it from a crate drop.

The DVAR scr_game_objectiveStreaks is what is preventing you from using these streaks. In the console, type 'set scr_game_objectiveStreaks "1"' and it should work.
Hey dude, I tried getting the WaW version to work but its just not being good to me. I've moved the mp_bot folder into the mod folder but now I have no idea what could be a problem. Please get back to me on a more specific way to load the files correctly, thanks :D
Make sure it is your "C:\Users\%NAME%\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW\mods\" folder, not ".GAME\mods\" folder. Then start multiplayer, and click on 'mods' and double click 'mp_bots'.
Love the mod and everything, however on world at war when I load the bot mod and set it to lan so me and my friend can play and start the server, it just brings me to the desktop with a console menu. Is there an offline client I can use for waw or can I only do solo?
