Features

v2.0 Beta
- All handheld weapon sounds have been redone with more accurate sounds than the previous release from many years ago.
- Turret, Cannon, Rocket, Bullet, Explosion, and possibly more have been changed to real sounds.
- This is a beta release because not all sounds could be changed, some sounds or levels may not even work altogether, because the mod tools either have broken script lines or missing ones.
I cannot fix this, unless a good coder wants to contact me and can fix this issue.
- Sounds are also done in mono for multiple reasons:
The bullet whizbys are too loud in stereo.
All the explosion and other misc sounds are automatically converted to mono, even if you put them in stereo.
Only the handheld weapons work in stereo, but then don't mesh well with the rest of the game that is immediately converted to mono. So I ended up putting them in mono too.

- Added new sounds for the Silencers, M203 and GP25 Grenade Launchers
- Third Person sounds have been changed from mono to stereo, so now they are very hearable

- New sounds for all handheld weapons, and some turret weapons
- All recorded from the real weapons, but in some ways altered
- Sound script is changed in attempt to make the guns a bit louder

Installation
------------
- Extract the Firefight folder into your Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare/Mods folder

- To use in single player, create a desktop shortcut of iw3sp.exe
- Open the desktop shortcut in properties and on the target line replace the line with this "C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3sp.exe" +set fs_game mods/firefight
- After that, just click on the shortcut to launch single player with the mod!

Notes
-----
- If you do not use a Windows 64bit system, then remove the (x86) from the single player installation script
- You would need to host a dedicated or join a impure server to use the sounds in multiplayer
