Call of Duty, wildly recognized as one of the greatest World War 2 games, gets a face lift with this sequal. Offering 4 campaigns, the new game is even more story driven than the original Call of Duty giving the player the choice of the story driven mode or a historical chronological mode.

Fight some of WWII's most epic battles looking through the eyes of ordinary soldiers.

The sequel to Call of Duty, the 2003 Game of the Year and winner of more than 80 awards, Call of Duty 2 offers more immense, more intense, more realistic battles than ever before, thanks to the stunning visuals of the new Call of Duty 2 engine.

Call of Duty 2 provides an amazing experience with all-new enhancements, ranging from stunningly realistic graphics to seamless gameplay, a new engine, groundbreaking AI, and choice-based innovations that allow players to experience the closest thing they’ll ever get to real warfare. Beautifully rendered snow, rain, fog and smoke, combined with dynamic lighting and shadows, make this the most intense WWII first person action title yet.

Merciless Mod 2 V3.3 Multiplayer Mod

I'm pleased to announce after many long hours of work, Merciless Mod 2 V3.3 has been released. The most noticeable and essential update is removal of rotating message system, which crashed the game if it ran a pure server. This is no longer the case. Moreover, there has been major class adjustments. Every class excluding Medic now has one landmine with defuse abilities. The defuse chance is greatest with the Engineer/Officer (80%) and second is Support (70%). Many unnecessary weapons were removed due to being almost duplicate, and I believe the Deployable MG system was a very useless weapon. Can't think of anyone who uses deployable weapons in CoDUO so why have it a similar thing in CoD2?

The list of revisions is almost end-list but hear is the main stuff: Engineer are now Officers which is a Rifleman Class. Medics have SMG and shotguns. Support is Mobile MG or PPSH Drum, Assault Rifle (if any), and SMG. Other classes are the same. Instead of only allied fire grenade and axis gas grenade, both teams have fire grenades and gas grenades. Chopped out unneeded custom sound files.

I tested this mod via listen and dedicated server mod. Though I don't know how it will react with lets say 30 players or so. Perhaps the community can test this mod out so more. Overall it seems much more stable though.

what the next COD needs is fricking good AI that isnt absolute rubbish, the AI is about the same as the AI was in the medal of honor: allied assualt days....does that not say something about how bad the AI is....i can't stand playing games were you can't sneak up to enemies without them just following you through buildings knowing your exact position, The guys from infinity ward should really look at how AI should be done, rather than spend their time upgrading graphics all the time, cuz all COD2 was, was better graphics and more levels...woopde freakin doo, half of the gamers out there don't have rigs that can play the game even on it's bare minimum settings. We want better gameplay, not better graphics.

Someone should change the description from CoD being "wildly" excepted to "widely". A bit strange otherwise.

Squall1991 I see where your coming from with the weapon sounds. However the guns were fired in a field somwhere while being recorded. So they are the actual gun sounds you are hearing. But i'm with you on the fact they don't sound real to me either, well I think they all sound very similar, and the BAR and COLT sounds were taken from CoD1 and the tokarev TT33 russian pistol uses the same sound as the colt which I found pretty annoying because the TT33 sounds a lot different to the colt.45.

Also, what buisness doe CoD2 have with a physics engine? It's not about physics puzzles and what not, doesn't make much sense to have it yet. It does everything just fine without it.

I'm tired of these morons who keep saying cod should have physics. the point is so all computers can play it smooth and physics would be a huge system hog with that many people on the screen at once, not to diss you or anything lol

weapon sounds arent very realistic, thats my only complaint :P

Hope a SDK comes soon... although i don't care much about cod2, other than it's SP that was great!

The rest as far as i'm concerned "meh" :P

So if you want one of the best ww2 SP experiences, get COD2!

Call of Duty 3 should REALLY get physics...since i was disapointed by cod2 not having any...

All parts are super CoD, CoD2 but somehow stands apart from the rest, this is a really good game, I would recommend it, this game is a classic FPS.
